The debut collection of Resort resulted from a synergic collaboration with the Mexican artist Samuel Guerrero. This first project resulted in the creation of 2 fragrances. The starting point for this project was understanding perfumery as a language of its own. It was very important to understand that fragrances can tell a story and express a point of view through the sensorial exaltation of the ordinary, the spiritual, the sensitive and the enigmatic. These 2 aromas as well as their containers, exist in response to Guerrero´s own artistic world and vision of reality.

SAMUEL GUERRERO
(b. 1997, Mexico City) lives and works in Mexico City.
The work of Samuel Guerrero addresses themes such as territory, the cultural and political implications of it, the deconstruction and reconstruction of the body, as well as the formation of new experiences through elements of social identity. The body of work of Guerrero is informed by the life experiences and adversities that come with territory, the perception of oneself existing in a body and how region determines the cultural and historical notion of space. In his work, the past is constantly referenced and speculated about, as well as the future and its possible adaptations are interpreted. All of this happens through a conversation between different eras understood through temporal non linear patterns.
